Albuquerque Bathroom Remodel
Here are some pictures of a recent project we completed in the Tanoan East neighborhood located in the NE heights of Albuquerque. It was a remodel of a bathroom. Since the tile and cabinets were installed prior to our involvement, covering and protecting the finished surfaces was an extremely important part of this project. Cutting Edge Painting, Inc. installed drywall and metal corner bead, floated the walls and ceilings four coats with joint compound to produce a level five, smooth drywall finish.
We primed the drywall surfaces, and finished the walls with two coats of Benjamin Moore Aura Bath and Spa, which is a premium quality, matte finish that is highly abrasion resistant, washable, and extremely mildew resistant. It is the only matte finish that I am aware of that can outperform a traditional semi-gloss when used in wet areas. We put a fresh coat of paint on the door and trim. We also assisted the designer with the installation of the towel bars, mirror, and other accessories.
