Interior Repaint in High Desert

We recently completed a comprehensive interior repainting project in the High Desert neighborhood of Albuquerque’s North East Heights. The scope of work included painting all walls and ceilings throughout the home. Additionally, our team performed necessary surface repairs, including filling in obsolete phone boxes and patching holes left by a previous speaker system. Thirteen years ago, we originally painted these walls in Benjamin Moore’s Shaker Beige. While that remains a classic choice, it no longer complemented the homeowner’s recent interior upgrades. To provide the home with a fresh, contemporary feel, we transitioned the color palette to a much lighter, crisp off-white. For clients planning major color changes, we strongly recommend two steps to ensure satisfaction. First, once you have narrowed down your color selection, paint a large sample on several areas of the home. This prevents the old wall color from clouding your perception of the new hue. For this project, we painted two final color candidates from corner to corner on full walls, specifically positioning them near existing cabinets and woodwork to observe how the color interacted with fixed elements. While this process may feel extensive, it is the most reliable way to guarantee the result matches your vision before committing to the full space. By taking these extra steps, we ensure that every brushstroke contributes to a modern, revitalized living environment that enhances the home’s overall aesthetic.
