Arroyo Del Oso Back Patio Renovation
Here are some photos of a home in the northeast heights, near Arroyo Del Oso that we did an extensive exterior renovation on the back patio in addition to fully painting the trim work and doors. We installed a 5/8 inch thick by 3 & 1/4 inch wide bead board ceiling. Because the readily available material of this kind was not of an acceptable quality, we worked with Wood Molding Specialties to custom mill the bead board from a select grade poplar. We also increased the width of the support posts, and wrapped them with moldings we milled in our shop creating a frame and panel effect. The home owner contracted separately with an electrical contractor to install new recess fixtures, and an outdoor rated ceiling fan. The other trim work was power washed, prepared, and all surfaces were finish painted with premium quality Benjamin Moore Aura. The results were great and the customer was thrilled.
